I am Mehdi Hasan. The only son in the family. And like everyone else, I had a dream of becoming something big in life, but this dream remained my dream. The time is 2019, when I was an intermediate 2nd year student. Suddenly various problems appeared in my body. After seeing the doctor and doing various tests, I came to know that I have not had a kidney since birth and the one I have is small in size. Now this kidney is also crippled. Since then, my life has taken a different turn. The doctor said that if you want to be healthy, you need a kidney transplant. At the same time I continued dialysis twice a week as advised by the doctor. Kidney transplants require a lot of money which is impossible for a middle class family like ours. However, in 2020, with the help of relatives, I went to India for a kidney transplant. But I was not lucky enough to be diagnosed with hepatitis C and could not get a kidney transplant. That is why I have to come back from India. Since then I have been undergoing dialysis twice a week as per the doctor's advice. I have been living on dialysis for 2 years since then. My family is almost destitute as I have to bear the cost of this treatment. Due to which I have not been able to do proper dialysis for a few months now, I have not even been able to arrange the medicine. As a result, my physical condition is deteriorating day by day.Where the doctor said to do dialysis twice a week, I can't do dialysis once a week. My Mao can't do anything after seeing my condition. All I want now is for me to be in good health I can spend the rest of my life. So I have reached out to you for help.
