Walk Again

As a lot of you may know, I almost lost my kind, caring and loving father last September.

My dad underwent an emergency operation to remove part of his left leg to control the infection from continuing to spread. After the operation, he was placed in an induced coma as well as being placed on life support. The unknown was terrifying for us as a family.

My dad is a true fighter and managed to pull through. This has been a life changing experience for him, and has been wheel chair bound since. He is slowly trying to adapt to his new life style day by day. He would love to have the opportunity to able to walk again and be the active person he once was.

We are hoping to raise money to enable him to get a prosthetic leg, to help him get back on his feet. Sadly due to the limited funds supported by medical aid, some of the money raised will go towards his medical bills and having been out of work has had it's toll. At this stage we are unsure as to when he will be able to return to work, which he is desperately looking forward to.
