Walk a mile in my shoes

#Phenominal Women is a NGO based in kliptown Johannesburg. Our Vision is to Assist victims of abuse to speak up and speak out and to find healing and help.

Our Focus point is on women but we don't leave our men aside. Many times women judge each other without knowing the story of another women and Many times men get abused and stay silent because of social value placed on them as being weak. We want to change that.

Our Campaign is to raise funds for a safe house. Where women , men and children can find safety from their abuser . It should not only be a safe house for women but we would like to have a section for men that's going through GBV. We cannot sit back and see how government is not doing anything. We want to lend a hand to victims in our surrounding areas.

We know not everyone have the opportunity or finances to leave that abusive situation. But this safe house will offer them the opportunity to start the process of healing without being afraid. A place where their kids will also be welcomed. We will have different programs and councillors to assist with different cases
