Waggy Resort – Cage Free Dog Boarding

Hello, animal-lovers! My name is Colleen, and for the last eight years, my family and I have run a small doggy boarding, daycare, and grooming business out of our home in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Waggy Resort is a cage-free and much less stressful alternative to regular kennels, and we’ve had a lot of great reviews from satisfied customers (and happy tail-wagging guests!)

Now, while I love what I do very much, as you may have guessed, my situation makes it extremely hard for me to expand and take on more clients. The space in my home is limited, most of what we make now goes back into caring for our furry guests, and we rely heavily on referrals due to lack of funding for advertising and a stronger online presence.

I’ve started this campaign because while I would love to take the Waggy Resort to the next level, I absolutely cannot do this without your help!

The Vision

While the goal of this campaign is to secure a commercial building, which would allow Waggy Resort to take on more clients and expand our service offerings, our vision goes beyond generating business. Proper pet care is expensive, and while it’s important to ensure you have the resources to take care of your new family member before bringing them home, a little help can go a long way, especially during emergencies.

Ultimately, Waggy Resort wants to become a pillar of support in the community for pet owners, and a non-profit animal care facility.

Our Funding Goals

Even if we’re unable to raise the full amount listed, there are several smaller projects your donation will be used to cover in addition to helping to keep the Waggy Resort keep its doors open. These include:

“The Shaggin Waggin” – A van to transport the dogs, which would allow us to offer pick-up and drop-off services. This would be especially useful when picking dogs up for an emergency sitting, or to transport them to places like the vet/dog park.

Supplies – Grooming equipment, toys, and doggy furniture, including beds and gates, etc.

Online Services – I would like to launch an online ad campaign, get professional design services and SEO for the website, and make it easier for our clients to pay us through the web.

Waggyrescue.com – The creation and maintenance of the website for our non-profit rescue program.
