Vuong Truong Testicular Cancer

My witty, good time, always smiling brother is fighting a battle that we need help on. On August 29th, 2013 my brother, Kelly Lyons was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer. He began treatment and has surgery to fight this cancer. All routine visits were going well. He then went back to his doctor and the news was devastating.

On December 11th, 2013, after a trip to Indianapolis the news of he exhausted his yearly limit on treatments with his insurance was devastating. He has Two types of Testicular Cancer, one is a slow cancer, easily treated. The second one is a more aggressive cancer, without treatment, expected life, 3-4 months. In this fight, he will need a stem cell transplant that his insurance will not cover. He has now signed up for a Secondary Insurance through Obamacare, which Indiana University says will most likely treat him at the beginning of the year. The news of Obamacare is wonderful news BUT the cost is going to be $475.00 a month, that isn't including paying for his Primary Insurance.

So we turn to you - Kelly's family, friends and classmates to help with expenses and for him to kick cancers butt! Rather it is a $1.00 or $20.00 .. EVERY bit helps. All donations will be going to pay for traveling expenses, insurance bills and everyday living expenses to help his wife and two girls still of the home. His wife will be taking time off to attend to his needs. As he will need a round the clock caregiver during this time. We are all so thankful that she is an RN that can help in any treatments at home.
