Vulnerable Women and Youth Empowerment

I am Ombeni Mkonyi from Tanzania East Africa. I request you to Support Women and Youth in Tanzania. Women and Youth in Tanzania have got economic and social problems. The economic problem is lack of employment opportunities. Even though youth population is dominant in town, there no enough jobs to absorb them and there is very high unemployment. As a result the youth do involve in illegal activities such as theft, gangsters, kidnapping and so on to sustain their lives. Common social problem are inadequate social facilities, lack of recreation or entertainment center, family conflict such as divorce.

The project intervention will have the following specific aims:

1.Forming youth SACCO'S

2.Micro credit soft loan

3.small home agricultural activities

Manufacturing tourist local products for export

4.To run youth center

5 To run vocational skills training (metal, fabrication, carpentry tailoring and saloon
