Volunteering with Disabled Children in Kenya

Hi!I am hoping to volunteer in a home for disabled children in Kenya. The home is run by two Italian nuns who desperately need volunteers to work alongside professionals. The home provides physiotherapy, occupational therapy and exercise as well as creating a caring environment for these children. I currently work with disabled children across Cornwall and have worked alongside physiotherapists and occupational therapists in family homes. I would love to take the skills I have learnt so far to Kenya and offer a much needed extra pair of hands in this home. I understand the importance of trusting relationships with these children and I would love to extend the work I do here to a community that is at a disadvantage.I am saving money myself as well as asking for donations from a variety of sources, including you lovely people!Please help me reach my goal as an increased quality of life for these children really is priceless.Thank you!HolliePS.
