Campaign Story
On 17th July 2016, I am flying to Tanzania for 3 weeks where I will stay in Arusha whilst volunteering at an orphanage. In Tanzania, 6 in every 1000 women die at childbirth and 1.4 million Tanzanians have HIV resulting in thousands of children having to be taken in to an orphanage. Tanzanian orphanages are overcrowded and understaffed so even though the children receive basic care, they are often missing individual attention and love.
During my time in Tanzania I will be helping with the basic day to day care of the children in addition to providing them with the attention that they so often lack but desperately need.
As excited as I am to make a positive difference in Tanzania, I can't do it for free. I have to fund my flights, in-country travel, insurance, admin fee etc. so I need as much help as I can in order to fund my trip.
Any donation no matter how small will be hugely appreciated.
