PMGY Volunteering to teach English to children India, Sri Lanka and Bali MAY 2018

The reason I would like to raise money, is to fund the primary costs of my volunteering programme for six weeks in India, Sri Lanka and Bali starting in May 2018. I am planning to travel with the 'Plan My Gap Year' organisation which helps volunteers get in touch with charities overseas which accommodate students in their time abroad. My volunteering choices will be very varied, as I will have the opportunity to contribute to the lives of children with learning difficulties; teach English to help children reach their full potential; gain practical medical experience; become engaged in the lives of underprivileged children in orphanages and join a social initiative providing vocational training for young women in the community. I am also hoping to gain a memorable and once-in-lifetime experience which will allow me to meet people from all over the world.
