Ramadan is getting near! It means, Muslims in this world will be having a whole month of fasting before they will be celebrating the Eid festival. Fasting during Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam. Muslims fast as an act of worship, a chance to get closer to God and a way to become more compassionate to those in need. To fast, Muslims abstain from eating, drinking, smoking and engaging in sexual activity from dawn to sunset. After a month of fasting, Muslims will be celebrating Eid Mubarak or (Arabic: عيد مبارك) is a traditional Muslim greeting reserved for use on the festivals of Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr. Eid means "celebration" and refers to the occasion itself, and Mubarak means "blessed"; for example, performing the Eid prayer.
In order to provide the chance for those in needs in Syria especially childrens, I would like to volunteer and provide some new clothes for them, get some groceries and necessities, and make up some good foods after fasting and during the Eid festival. I am probably need some funds for the flight tickets for myself, and some medical aids that will be brought together with me for them. Even though the country is having some major crisis and politics, but I would like to put it aside and promote the peace in this world. I believe there is still the light towards our dreams. Let's cherish it together and celebrate the diversity!
