Volunteering in Vietnam

Hello! I have been given the opportunity to work with the Global Volunteering Network (GVN) who manage over 25 different community projects in vulnerable and developing countries across the globe. I will be specifically working with the children's program in Vietnam. This program works with orphans, street children and mentally/physically disabled children in a range of different orphanages, schools, daycare and social support centres in Da Nang and Tam Ky.

Many of these children are parent-less or have been abandoned as their parents cannot afford to care for them. They need love, education and to be taught life skills to ensure their future is free from poverty and as a volunteer I can make this difference in their lives by teaching basic English, providing basic health care and show them love and affection - basic needs that we take for granted every single day.

I am asking you to help me make a difference in these children’s lives and to help these communities develop, grow and face a more positive future.  Although GVN have placed me in their program before I can participate in this life changing experience I need to fundraise money to pay all program fees associated. Any donation is greatly appreciated.

All monies raised will be allocated to the fees associated with the program and the flight costs to get there. Any surplus donations received will be donated to Volunteer Vietnam, which is a charity that helps pay for food, education and medical programs in each of the cities in Vietnam that GVN raises for on a monthly basis.
