Volunteering In Vietnam

Hi everyone!

I'm going to volunteer in Yen Bai, Vietnam this summer. The project will last for 10 days and it will cost aproximately GBP465 excluding pocket money and flight tickets.

The main aim of the project is to build classrooms for the local communities using green technology. As Yen Bai is a highland area in Vietnam, it suffers from harsh winter condition and the lack of proper infrastructure makes it even harder for the children to go to school. We will be installing solar powered lighting and heating in the classrooms.

We will also take the opportunity to teach English to the children.

It will be great if you could contribute a small amount towards this cause. The money will go towards the cost of acquiring the necessary materials needed throughout the project as well as living expenses while I'm there.
