Volunteering in Vietnam!

What is this fundraiser for?

Well, it's for helping me to get the money so I can go to Vietnam for two weeks, and help children in orphanages or special needs centers.

What will you be doing?

Depending on where I will be placed, I'll be helping kids with learning english, Arts and crafts and other things. Ill also be helping with cleaning, cooking, and anything else they could possibly need me to do. 

Why should I donate?

Well let me give you a little bit about myself. On may 18th, 2013 I will be 18 years old. Ill also be graduating highschool around that time. I know I'm going to go to college, but I don't have much direction in my life other then "Well, I'm going to community college for two years, but after that i have no idea what I'm doing exactly."  Why does this information matter? well I know something that i have always wanted to do, and thats help people. I figure, If I can do this one thing that I want to do, and plan it out; learn the language and the culture, and be able to raise the money for it myself, I can handle anything else thrown at me in life, and maybe ill also be able to direction my life a little more. On top of it, I really just want to help people. Especially kids in need, because I know what it is like to be a kid in need. 

Who is this benefitting?

Well, it is benefitting me to a degree, with what I just explained. But, it will also be benefitting the program that is helping thousands, and anyone i help along the way. (which hopefully will be alot!) Even if I only end up helping a few children, at least i have made an impact on there life, to show them that someone does care. But the only way I can do that, is if I can earn all the money I need through fundraisers and donations. 

I don't know what else I can say about this. But what i will say, is that I hope everything i have said has helped you to decide to help by donating. I don't have anything that I can give as a reward for any amount of donating, but what I can give you is my thanks. If you donate, thank you. I cannot put down in words how thankful i will be, so I hope you accept the words that I can put down. I don't expect to get to how much I need with just this, heck, I don't expect to get anything. But, if I get anything.. every little bit helps, and every little bit goes towards helping to help me try and change a childs life to the best of my ability.
