Volunteering in Nepal!!! Please help us to help a beautiful country!

We are a couple of Italian volunteer.

With the great help of the local charity association Kungba fudre - Revolution in Education we are running two courses to help the people in remote and poor areas of Nepal to learn something that will help them to make themselves a life.

In the video you can see me Giulio (one of the volunteer) and Prashan (member of the association) in the side project Wiew of Nepal..a project that has the aim to promote tourism in Nepal...all the things these guys do are just to help their county

The Period - The courses will be held in July and August 2017

The Association - Kungba Fudre is an ONG run by nepali people to help nepali people. Is a very small ONG that believes that giving professional training to people is better than give them money. They have already organized professional courses for disadvantaged nepalese people. Is not a big ONG but is run by 2 young nepalese guys that love their country and want to make it rise again.

The Aim - Teaching disadvantaged people, particulary women, in remote or disatvantaged areas of Nepal. The courses will give them the chance to find jobs or make money helping themselves and their families.

The Courses - Two courses will be held

• Jewellery hand crafting - Women will learn how to make handmade jewellery and the association will start to sell them so they will have a permanent income. From knowing nothing they will be able to produce and sell handmade jewellry to sustain themselves
• English, Hospitality and Working with foreigners - Men and women will be in different fields. The ONG is connected with a travel agencies. The course will give them different skills that will help them to find jobs trough the association as tourist guides or hospitality workers. They will learn the basic skills for hospitality (waitering, cleaning...ecc. ecc.), they will learn how to behave with foreigners and how to interact with them and during all the course they will learn the english they need to do these jobs. After the training the association will help them to find jobs with the contact they have to the travel agency. Tourism is a major industry for Nepal.

What we need the money for? - All the money we need will help us to buy training material and items to produce the jewellery (wires, stones...ecc.). Money in excess will help the ONG to organize this and other courses. We also accept any kind of donation that could help us training this people

WE ARE NOT ASKING MONEY FOR US TO TRAVEL THERE BUT JUST TO MAKE THIS COURSES POSSIBLE WITH THE MATERIAL WE NEED.
