Volunteering in Namibia

In the summer I will be travelling to Namibia to volunteer with an organisation called The Mighty Roar, here I will get up close and personal to some incredible animals such as cheetahs, lions, baboons and much more! I will be volunteering and staying a the Namibia Wildlife Sanctuary which is situated near to Windhoek. The sanctuary offers a safe refuge to orphaned, injured and abandoned animals. The aim of the sanctuary is to release as many animals as possible back into the wild, across safe conservation areas away from farmland. Since opening in 2008, over 40 carnivores have been released back into their natural habitat, with this number constantly growing.
I will be working hands on to help develop and maintain the sanctuary and it's surrounding area so the rehabilitation work can continue to grow.

While in Namibia I will experience unforgettable moments as well as leaving a permanent and positive mark on the sanctuary.
