Kenya Volunteer Program! In October I will be traveling to Africa to be a part of an amazing program geared towards empowering women. As a volunteer on the Women’s Education project in Kenya, I will work closely with centers which support women affected by HIV/AIDS in providing counseling, guidance, and sometimes childcare. The primary aim of this project is to empower the women through income-generating projects, education and skills training. I am asking for support to help cover cost for my transportation, travel insurance, training courses, and of course drinking water!
