Volunteers on the Sports project in Rome have the unique opportunity to teach sports to migrants (asylum seekers and refugees) or individuals who have special needs. This project spoke to me and I felt a calling to participate in it. I have always loved sports, volunteering, and traveling. This volunteering experience will let me do all of that.
I will be in Rome for a month helping teach sports, working with either migrant groups or individuals with special needs as a coaching assistant during their daily training. Work will focus on teaching skills for popular sports such as football (soccer), basketball and rugby.
This fundraising page will help me be able to cover the cost of flying and staying it Italy while I am volunteering. I am so excited about this opportunity and I hope you will consider helping me follow my dreams.
