Volunteering in Ghana – Ghana Orphanage Project

I am beyond excited to say that in May I am flying out to Ghana, where I will be volunteering at the local orphanage for 6 weeks. I will assist with teaching the children, general childcare and the daily operational running of the orphanage. The orphanage there is basic and in need of volunteers, so I will be able to give the children individual attention in which they would not normally receive. This is something I have always wanted to do from a young age and cannot believe it is now actually happening.

Each day I will be tending to the children's needs and interacting and spending time with them , I will also be helping with the cleaning, feeding and washing. I aim to really bond with the children within the 6 weeks that I am there, and to mainly just put a smile on their little faces. Not only this, I am looking forward to lending a hand to the staff that do an amazing job at the orphanage day in and day out.

I have set up this fundraising page to help fund my project, so that I can help and make a difference to the young children's lives. Any donations will be hugely appreciated.
