Volunteering in Ghana

I've been given the exciting opportunity to travel to Ghana and volunteer in a local hospital. Although the healthcare is rapidly improving, many are still becoming sick due to poor sanitation, and poor drinking water. Diseases like Thypoid, TB and Polio are still a daily struggle. During my four weeks there, I will be assissting trained members of staff with their daily routine, to try and relax some of the strain. These hospitals are still severely understaffed and badly stocked with poor rescources, nothing like the NHS we are used to. I'm hoping for a little help for the flight there.
