Volunteering in Bulgaria

Hello! In August 2014, I will be heading out of Europe for the first time, on a challenging 2/3 week trip to Bulgaria, where I will be volunteering and gaining valuable experience as an English teaching assistant. One of Bulgaria's largest industries is tourism, in 2007 Bulgaria was visited by 5,200,000 tourists, ranking 39th in the world. The ability to speak English puts amany in a strong position to find meaningful future employment. But the reality is that only children attending private schools receive a decent level of English training, and the majority of English teachers can only speak an intermediate level of English themselves. I will be helping make a difference to the development of the children’s English and intercultural skills, and also helping improve the English of the local teachers too.  To be able to take part in this amazing volunteer project, I have plenty of money to raise, and it's pretty scary facing costs like these - especially with the price of flights. I will honestly appreciate any and all donations to help me on my way. Regardless of how little you can spare, it will still help me and I will be so grateful!  Thank you very much :)
