Volunteering for Community Development

I am a co-founder of an NGO called Helpa Community Development Association which is aimed at promoting, creating and encouraging a conducive environment, which favors community development especially in the areas of portable water and environmental protection. It is for this reason that my group and i would like to volunteer in the community development project in San Diego USA. As of now, we have been accepted by International Volunteer HQ to participate in the volunteer program, but we haven't paid the registration and accommodation fees. I believe that taking part in this project will help improve our knowledge on how to develop our community. Also, through this volunteering project we will have the opportunity to meet partners and possibly meet sponsors. Our NGO also supports the UNO's sustainable development goals, thus we need much experience. To this effect, on behalf of my team, i am pleading for your support. Any little token will be highly appreciated. Completed a volunteer program in Chile last year with my team, it was great. I greatly count on your support.
