Campaign Story
In the rural town of San Miguel de Allende, vulnerable children are often faced with the prospect of having nowhere to go, and hence being in extreme danger from criminal gangs. Casa de Los Angeles provides a safe haven, a centre where any child can come and know they will receive food, shelter and urgent medical care. From the 23rd of July to the 21st of August 2014, I will be volunteering at Casa de Los Angeles in Mexico. Without volunteers the centre simply cannot operate, which is why I am in desperate need of your help in fundraising to allow me to volunteer at the centre for a month. All donors will receive a link to a blog I will write whilst volunteering, as well as a copy of all photos. For businesses or groups looking to donate, I would be more than willing to do a presentation following my trip, as well as consider any individual sponsorship requests.
In order to fundraise, I will be competing in the Fritton Lake Duathlon on February 16th, so please consider sponsoring! I will add in a link showcasing event photos and info shortly afterwards. Please do not hesitate to email me ([email protected]) should you have any questions.
Apologies to Claire, Kristian, James and Rachel who have already kindly donated £41 between them, but their donations are not correctly showing due to an error with the site.
