Volunteering Abroad

Volunteering abroad would give me the chance to help out communities that are truely in need of help. Honestly the U.S. is one of the more developed countries even in our impoverished areas. I volunteer at a Children's daycare and a hospital. However I am not really feeling fulfilled because I'm not really helping people that really need my assistance. I want to go on this trip because not only would it give me the cultural exploration of a foreign country, I would be able to volunteer and help people/communities that are really in need of help. Due to my dad still being a student pastor and currently still going to school, it is hard for my family to come up with the money necessary even with me part-time lifeguarding. If you could help me achieve my dream of volunteering abroad; not only would it help the country I am going to, it will also help me grow as a human being.
