volunteer work project in Peru

Hey there,

my name is Lina, I am 23 years old and study psychology at the university in constance, Germany.

My project plan is to go to Peru for two month, during my semester holidays in march and april, working in a primary school to help preparing classes, activities and teaching English. I plan to work in Cuscos primary school in March and then moving to Trujillo to work in the orphanage "mundo de ninos". The children in the orphanage come from families with drug- , crime- and violence problems and I would like to support them, beacause i love to work with children, I study psychology and I would like to live the every day life in a different culture.
I want to bring the education closer to the local children and learn from each other. Especially oepning up the view on chances that open up through education.
In my free time I dance ballet and modern dance, so I would like to organise a dance course/ choreography with the kids and take it on video, to let you, the people that support me , know about my work in Peru. I plan to create a blog on my experience and the life there, so that you can follow me while I am working in the project.

The volunteer work project is provided by "peruinfarbe.com". There you can read about the project i want to work in and see the costs. The programm costs for two months with a language course cost me 1500 euros. additionally the flight to go and come back will be 1000 euros. I would be glad if you can support me and if I can fund 2500 euros and be a party of this amazing project. The costs for a prolongued stay I will earn until departure and contribute myself.
