Stavroula runs for the stray animals!
She is an active volunteer in animal rescue. She started running 2 years ago. She is a happy adopter of 5 former stray dogs.
This year she will run for the first time in her life a half marathon of 21 kilometers in her hometown Thessaloniki on the 19th of October 2019 (http://www.runningnews.gr/mitem.php?id=39303)
All of the received funds will go straight to " Frontizo" animal welfare charity to help some of their incidents ( www.frontizofs.gr).
Greece is a country with many stray dogs & cats. Stray animals that are in desperate need of food, medicines, surgical operations, spaying and neutering. State care is almost minimal.
It's an effort to cover some of their expenses in the area she lives. As an example, “Serhio” is a male griffon that suffers from Heartworm and Erlichiosis. Total cost of his treatment is 400 euros. “Masai” is a 3 months old female puppy that had two serious fractures, hit by a car on the highway and left to die. She recovers well, after hospitalisation and surgery in a private clinic. Total cost 450 euros almost covered by donations. And many more animals in an endless list.
Please support her cause.
Together we can make the difference!
