Hi everyone!

It has always been a dream of my to be able to go abroad to volunteer, and with the aid of Global Volunteer Network hopefully I will be able to go to Costa Rica for 21 days during September. The construction project which I have chosen I find it really interesting, during the 21 days I will be able to paint, decorate, build walls, dig and build wooden playgrounds and also assist in the preparation work such as cement mixing, cutting wood transport material.

In Costa Rica 7% of the population live under extreme poverty and 20.6% live under poverty, the money received will be used to work in local communities in order to improve their infraestructures.

As you may know in Spain the actual situation isn´t very good and it takes a lot of effort and time to  be able to make all the money to help others, so hopefully with your support I will be able to help others that really need it!

Thanks a lot!
