Volunteer

Hello to you, a very kind soul. I am Maryam from Malaysia. In November 2019, I went to Germany with a very minimum budget and with a very heavy heart to left my country. I was really helpless, upset and tired of what I had to experience in my country. So I decide to fly to Germany, to give some time for myseIf to heal. I arrived in Germany and I decide to do some volunteering job. So I have met Helga ( I called her Mama ) in Germany and I used to take care of her, volunteered to do house chores and accompanied her with her day routine. Some of you might know German people took some time to trust and be friendly but Helga is always being kind to me. She always wait for me every Monday and Thursday and we will have a coffee time together. And now, Helga was diagnosed with dementia ( as been told by het daughter, Birte ) and it's break my heart to think that she will maybe couldn't remember me anymore. So, I want to be there for her, to take care of her as the best I can to repay her kindness and loves to me along my tough journey in Germany. I know it is not necessary but as a human, the love that I have to Helga is everything. I hope you can help me and I am so sorry of I wrote this too long. May God bless you.
