A dream project of mine. have been working on it since last 3 years. i have been trying to raise money from the investors for a couple of years now. but no luck. in order to raise money from investors i need to have a protoype. a fully designed and non working prototype will cost around AU$ 3 million. that why i come to you to help me fund my dream because i will not let the lack of money stop me from persuing my dream. VOLTRA MOTORS  Voltra Motors is an environmentally focused start up company proposing a new brand of Australian owned electric vehicle. Our main competitive advantage is our long driving range of 350 km’s to 500 km’s depending upon the battery packs. This, compared to our main competitors range of 100 to 150 km’s is a huge advantage. Voltra plans to market itself as a green, environmentally friendly, proudly Australian owned company. At this stage, Voltra Motors Pyt. Ltd is owned in full by me, Varun Bhargava and I am ready to offer up to 40% of equity for 100% investment in the company. THE PRODUCT The product will be a 100% Electric, full size, four door, premium luxury sedan. The car will be an aerodynamic Aluminum based lightweight electric car with rear wheel drive capable of doing 0 km/hr to 100 km/hr in under 6 seconds. With no engine and no tailpipe emissions, this car will liberate us from the need for petroleum burning. Petroleum powered vehicles and hybrids burn refined petroleum. Our vehicles can use electricity however it is produced. As the world gravitates towards sustainable technologies, Voltra’s consumers can gain from the benefits.  The Battery Packs The battery packs will consist of lithium ion cells. The battery packs will be available in 2 variants: The 60 Kwh battery pack, which consists of approximately 5500 lithium ion cells. This version of the battery pack will have a range of approximately 350 km’s to 390 km’s. The 85 Kwh battery pack, which consists of approximately 7700 lithium ion cells. This version of the battery pack will have a range of approximately 500 km’s. Both variants of battery packs will be liquid cooled.   The Motor The electric vehicle will be powered by an electric motor, a 3-phase AC induction motor with a copper rotor. This motor will produce power ranging from 360 HP to 420 HP with a maximum torque of 440 Nm. There will be 2 types of motors available: 270 kW (362 HP) producing 440 Nm of torque. 310 kW (416 HP) producing 440 Nm of torque. Both variants of motor will be liquid cooled.   THE MARKET The first model launched by our company will be targeted at environmentally conscious people. Our target market includes people who are willing to spend AU$ 80,000 on a luxury, one of a kind vehicle that requires no petrol whatsoever to run. With petrol prices constantly rising, we will provide huge potential savings to our customers, as well as green, environment friendly driving everyday. Our company will benefit from a competitive advantage in the Australian market, as we will be one of the only two companies providing completely electric, luxury car with an incredible range of 400km’s to 500 km’s range from just one charge.   Currently there are very few electric cars being sold in Australia. This is due to very limited supply and the lack of infrastructure. In a recent study conducted by the Victorian Government Transport Department, it was established that 60% of people primarily used their vehicles for travel to and fro work, and further 18% for domestic duties (see below for full results.) This clearly demonstrates the fact that Australian consumers primarily use their vehicles for relatively short distance driving. This benefits our company as one of the main concerns consumers have with electric vehicles is running out of charge. The fact that our vehicle has a driving range of 350 km to 500 km, and people mostly drive locally close to their homes will put their minds at ease.
