Vlăduț luptă și visează la Crăciun

UPDATE 10 decembrie 2021:

Pe 9 Noiembrie s-au implinit 3 ani de cand am aflat ca Vladut are cancer. Neuroblastom. Si 2 ani de cand Vladut lupta cu toate puterile pentru viata lui, in Istanbul, cu tratamente care mai de care mai invazive si greu de suportat. Dupa o perioada scruta de remisie, in iulie in urma pet CT-ului am aflat ca a recidivat.

A urmat cure de imunoterapie, insa cancerul a fost mai puternic si a avansat sub tratament. Din noiembrie a intrat de urgenta din nou pe chimioterapie. Insa corpul este foarte slabit in urma tratamentelor anterioare, si lupta e mai grea acum. Necesita transfuzii de sange din doua in doua zile, tratament cu imunoglobulina pentru activarea sistemului imunitar intrucat in urma primei chimioterapii noi a facut infectii repetate fiind foarte aproape de sepsis.

Ca aceste chimioterapii sa aiba efect impotriva cancerului galopant, medicii recomanda urmarea a doua terapii in paralel. Chimioterapie si iminoterapie, insa costurile sunt imense, o sedinta de imunoterapie fiind aproximativ 50.000 de euro pe luna. Doar fiolele cu tratament. Analizele, medicamentele, internarile, transfuziile de sange precum si sedintele normale de chimioterapie nu intra in acest cost.

Vladut lupta, viseaza la Craciunul pe care sa-l petreaca in Romania alaturi de bunici, isi doreste sa se intoarca acasa sanatos, sa si ia o pisica si sa joace fotbal si de a v ati ascunselea cu prietenii in parcarea blocului. Isi doreste sa si traiasca copilaria ca orice alt copil, nu in spitale, nu cu injectii, cu catetere, branule sau operatii. Desi isi doreste foarte putin in acest moment pare ca si doreste luna de pe cer.

Update 01.09.2021:

Revenim cu vesti legate de Vladut. Dupa doi ani in Turcia, in care a urmat tratament de chimioterapie, operatie de extirpare tumora mama, cu o dimensiune impresionanta, in urma operatiei extirpandu-se si o parte din ficat, care era necrozata, Vlad a continuat sedintele de chimioterapie in paralel cu sedintele de radioterapie pe zona operata. Insa metastazele nu au fost eliminate total, motiv pentru care a urmat un tratament cu substanta nucleara, MIBG, care i-a afectat tiroida. In urma tratamentului MIBG o mare parte dintre metastaze au fost eliminate mai putin una de pe clavicula, pentru care Vlad a intrat de urgenta in operatie, urmand apoi alte 15 sedinte de radioterapie si transplant cu celule stem. In urma acestor tratamente si interventii chirurgicale, am putut spera pentru prima oara la vindecarea lui Vlad. Insa la ultimul Pet CT au aparut noduli noi metastatici care ii pun viata in pericol, din nou.

Singurul tratament pe care Vlad il mai poate urma in acest moment este un tratament de ultima ora din America, insa costurile sunt exorbitante, o cura de 5 zile fiind aproximativ 50.000 de euro. El trebuie sa urmeze minim 3 cure, in urma carora va face un nou Pet CT pentru a vedea daca metastazele se retrag sau nu. Daca acest tratament va functiona este posibil sa-l urmeze pentru minim alte 6 luni. Cum nu exista alta solutie de tratament, trebuie sa incepem urgent cura.

UPDATE 10 ianuarie:

UPDATE: Medicii din Israel au confirmat diagnosticul de Neuroblastom grad IV cu metastaze osoase, ceea ce înseamnă că Vlăduț va avea un drum lung de parcurs, cu cel puțin un an de tratamente ce implică chimioterapie, apoi operație, radioterapie, transplant de celule stem și imunoterapie.

Suma de 500,000$ a fost estimată pentru prima etapă, costurile finale urmând a fi stabilite în funcție de mulți factori, dar cu siguranță suma finală va fi mult mai mare și imposibil de acoperit de părinții lui Vlăduț. Orice donație sau share contează. Vlăduț are nevoie de noi!

Lupta continua , tratamentul este unul de durată, iar familia lui Vladuț are nevoie in continuare de sprijin financiar pentru a putea acoperi costurile operației și tratamentului ulterior.

Vlăduţ Cîrciu, fiul de doar şase ani al colegului nostru Sorin Cîrciu, a fost diagnosticat recent cu neuroblastom şi alte două tumori la plămâni. Pentru operaţie şi tratament el trebuie urgent să ajungă în Israel, la spitalul Sheba Medical Center, cel mai mare centru medical din această ţară.

După ce au analizat dosarul lui Vlăduţ, oficialii spitalului din Israel au decis să îl accepte pentru operaţie şI tratament.

Costurile estimate în această etapă se ridică la 500.000 de dolari.

Pentru a-l accepta pe Vlăduţ şi pentru a putea începe tratamentul, familia trebuie să depună de urgenţă o garanţie în valoare de 120.000 de dolari.

Dată fiind gravitatea bolii, este necesară internarea sa de urgenţă în Israel, iar părinţii nu pot acoperi singuri costurile spitalizării.

UPDATE 10 December 2021:

November 9 marks the 3rd anniversary of Vladut’s cancer. Neuroblastoma. And 2 years since Vladut fought with all his might for his life, in Istanbul, with a more and more invasive and unbearable treatment. After a short period of remission, in July, following the CT scan, I found out that he had relapsed.

He underwent immunotherapy, but the cancer was stronger and advanced in treatment. Since November, he has been on emergency chemotherapy again. But the body is very weak from previous treatments, and the fight is harder now. It requires blood transfusions every two days, immunoglobulin treatment to activate the immune system because after the first new chemotherapy he made repeated infections being very close to spesis.

For these chemotherapies to work against galloping cancer, doctors recommend two concomitant therapies. Chemotherapy and immunotherapy but the costs are huge, an immunotherapy session being about 50,000 euros per month. Only treatment pills. Tests, medications, hospitalizations, blood transfusions, and normal chemotherapy sessions are not included in this cost.

Vladut fights, dreams of Christmas to spend in Romania with his grandparents, wants to return home healthy, to take a cat and play football and to hide with friends in the parking lot of the block. He wants to live his childhood like any other child, not in hospitals, not with injections, catheters, braces or operations. Although he wants very little at the moment, he seems to want the moon in the sky.

Dear friends, thank you from the heart for all the help, involvement and good thoughts sent. We want to send you the latest news from the hospital where Vlăduț – Memorial Hospital Istanbul is.

After the result of PET CT, which showed that the tumor has not yet decreased sufficiently, there are still 2 treatments of chemotherapy and then surgery, another treatment of chemotherapy and transplant.

Then depending on the biopsy it is possible to follow a round of radiotherapy or not.

Today, January 17, 2019, Vlăduț also begins the treatment of hepatitis C, which will last for 6 months.

Latest news about Vladut
He did the blood work and talked to the oncologist.
Also they did the heart ultrasound and PetCT.
He is well emotionally.
The hospital is huge, a real campus, with a school, painting courses, mathematics classes (to which Vlăduţ was invited).
Doctors are very nice and kind to the kids.
We are waiting for other news and we pray for the best!

Israeli physicians have confirmed the diagnosis of IV grade neuroblastoma with bone metastases, which means that Vlăduţ will have a long way to go, with at least one year of treatments involving chemotherapy, then surgery, radiotherapy, stem cell transplantation and immunotherapy.

Vladut, the 6 year child diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, needs urgent help for a surgery in Israel

Vladut Circiu, the 6-year child of our colleague Sorin Circiu, has been recently diagnosed with Neuroblastoma and two other tumors at his lungs. He needs to go to Israel urgently, at Sheba Medical Center, the largest medical facility in this country, to get surgery and treatment.

After analyzing Vladut’s medical file, the Israeli hospital’s officials decided to accept him for surgery and treatment.

The initial costs were estimated at USD 500,000.

Vladut’s family must urgently send a deposit of USD 120,000 in order for the child to be accepted and be able to start the treatment.
