Vitaliy Fliginskiy

Vitaliy is a 40 year old Ukrainian from Donetsk who has a love and passion for cars since he was 16 – a real car enthusiast with magic hands. In October 2013 the drag race car that he helped to prepare was the quickest in the Europe (Nissan Skyline R32, 186mph / 299 kmh), finishing a 1/4 mile race on a Santa Pod raceway in astonishing 7.43 seconds and setting a new World Record!
His life is now in danger. He has battled hepatitis C for many years, but his condition is getting worse.
Vitaliy’s only chance is to have a liver transplant which will cost 130,000 US $.

At the moment Vitaliy is in hospital in Minsk, Belarus, 8 Semashko Street. He is currently in the department of Portal Hypertension. Doctors have confirmed the presence of the cancer cells in his liver. Unfortunately, Vitaliy's state does not allow to carry out any curgical procedures. Which means that cancer cells can not just be removed. But the doctors have found the solution - to block the development of cancer with chemoembolization -a local chemotherapy. It is a modern method that helps to avoid any side effects and achieve a hiqh concentration of a chemical inside the tumor. Effectiveness of this method is certain circumstances can be very high.
