What do you do if you are born with a genetic condition that results in sun sensitivity and, as an extra challenge, means you are visually impaired? Do you meekly stay indoors and let life pass you by? Not if your name is Helen Webb. You don't let it stop you! You run, cycle and swim your way to achieving the impossible! You do an Ironman and earn the unbelievable opportunity to go to the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii in October 2017. In April 2017 Helen Webb was the first visually impaired female athlete to complete Ironman South Africa (3.8 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km run). As a result she has been chosen as 1 of 5 (yes, ONLY 5) Physically Challenged athletes who will take part in the World Championships and will be the only Visually Impaired female athlete there. How incredible is that? How inspiring for other women who might think they can't do it! We ask you to please help us all prove that with Helen Webb #anythingispossible
