Vincent’s ITE to Master Route

Hi Everyone!

This is Vincent here. I am in the awaiting my result for my last paper in professional education– Association of Chartered Accountant (ACCA). And hoping to continue pursues Master of Science in Accountancy with University of London (UOL).

I come from a family which have difficulty to make ends meet. When I was in my 17 years old my dad business failed and closed down his business and started working for people. I started to finance ACCA myself through working part time and full time.

Unfortunately on 24Dec14 when I was 24 years old, my dad met a traumatised accident ever since then my dad has been paralysed from neck down. Full assistance is required on everything (mobility, feeding, and toileting) for my dad. This means another major setback for my family when our finance is already on crisis. But luckily there is some insurance plans in place for us to sustain sometime, this would not be long as my dad is only 63 this year.

I am hoping to fight for my education and career to better support my family now and future.And I am passionate to return to the society one day.
