Vila dos focinhos animal shelter

Vila dos Focinhos (Village of Snouts) is an animal shelter, based on Goiânia-GO 12th largest city o Brazil, it is a Non-Governamental Organization for nonprofit purpose, to rescue, care, give shelter and allow the adoption of hundreds of dogs and cats taken off the streets.
According to World Health Organization - (WHO) There are 30 millions of animals living on the streets of Brazil
It is hard for anyone who works or is engaged in animal protection in any way to know that the amount of animals left on the streets is so big. In addition to the harsh life to which animals are subjected, this value also represents a public health problem. And all this brings us to two fundamental points: abandonment must end, adoption must be promoted and castration must be encouraged.

We work exclusively from donations and collaboration of volunteers willing to help in any way. It goes to cover veterinary expenses, food, rent of the shed where the animals are kept and cared while we work to find a foster home for each one of them
