About me, my ars poetica
If only I can, I’m travelling around the world and, observing people and cultures. In fact, I’m not a tourist.
A tourist is a snug paying for an organised trip getting to know the world’s window dressed face in return. In a couple of days receives a dose of uniformed experience while taking 120 pictures, and feeling satisfied because stayed in an all inclusive five-star hotel room.
The traveller discovers the world alone, and being oneself own boss following own wishes and ambushing behind the scenes – not in ten days. The traveller is driven by a genuine desire to learn the place, and the culture. The traveller knows that herself is only a person in transit in terrestrial sphere, that’s why she has been searching for the Earth’s real face.
I’m a traveller.
The story of my first book
The Hungarian Reformed Church’s Missionary Service delegates traditionally year by year a volunteer physician and his/her spouse to India, in order to help in making the local health care better. My friend was there also for that reason. (If You are looking for voluntary work, I could help You, please send me message at one of the following addresses: [email protected]or https://www.facebook.com/VieWriter). During their year in India I have visited them so I had the possibility to observe this superhuman work they did in spite of the limited resources.
In fact I have travelled across Northern India as a single white woman, completely independently without any help of an organization. As such I have experienced a lot. Just to mention a number of towns I visited without completeness: Delhi, Agra, Mathura, Jaipur, Udaipur, Varanasi, Darjeeling, Kolkata, and Haridwar... (If You are interested in travelling to India I could help You by sharing with my experiences. I offer my suggestions as one who has walked before You on India’s roads. Maybe I can act as a guide for You and save You from falling into some of the pitfalls that befell me.)
After my journey I was in silence for a long time. For three years, the essence of experiences and impressions had nursed inside my mind. With the right interval the experiences have crystallized. From all of these my North-Indian diary has become alive. And just recently, the English translated version also arrived, so you can read NEARBY FARAWAY.
My homepage is available through the following URL: http://viewriter.hu/eng/, it contains a collection of my numerous articles, and You can find some information about my first book.
So far I managed everything from my own merit and with generous help and assistance of others (translation, proofreading, post-production work, webpage…)
My second book
I appeal to You with my second book that will embrace several parts of Tibet, the beautiful region with its rich cultural traditions, living under dictatorship of China.
With my second book I would like to get more people acquainted with the Tibetan culture, and raise awareness of the vulnerable situation of the Tibetans.
I trust in free Tibet.
Due to all these I have thought that I appeal to You and I ask for your help.
