My name is Shilah Beasley and my brother is Phillip Beasley; we both love playing the violin. We started playing violin in fourth grade. I am a sophomore and play for the Pleasant Grove High School Chamber Orchestra and my brother plays for the Pleasant Grove Junior High Elite Orchestra.  We are part of The Utah Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra and in June we have the once in a life time opportunity to travel to Europe and spend two weeks traveling and playing with The Sinfonietta Polonia Orchestra located in Poland and directed by world renowned conductor Dr. Cheung Chau; (how many kids would not be excited to be able to do this!!!). This trip is important to us to be able to experience different cultures and the way music has become a part of these cultures. The trip for both my brother and I to go is $12,000 and we have raised $2000 so far. Any contributions you are willing to make would be greatly appreciated. We have never had the opportunity to do anything like this before and would love to make this dream come true. Even if you can’t make a contribution, please help us by telling people about our wonderful opportunity.
