Hi all

My name is Joydeep Haldar and I live in Plano, Texas with my family. I have two kids, 12 and 7. I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer in 2012 following which I underwent 6 months of chemo along with one year herceptin with mastectomy, hysterectomy surgery and, subsequently, was put on anti-hormone therapy--anastrozole. Radiation was never recommended or prescribed. However, many times during the treatment, I felt I may need radiation after mastectomy and kept asking the doctors if they would do one but was always discouraged from doing it.

In 2016 July, I was experiencing excruciating pain on my left shoulder and also felt a hardness under my left collar bone. I had a gut feel that this must be a cancer and so had it checked and I am diagnosed now with metastatic breast cancer with four tumors under my collar bone and chest wall and in the internal mammary gland. The Oncologist says that these tumors are not surgically removable.

I am advised that chemo is my only chance to survive on which I've lost my faith because it did not work the first time. This time, I want to try holistic treatment coupled with radiation. I'm dependent on my husband's medical insurance for treatment and even so the out of pocket and deductibles are so very expensive and I cannot afford that. The holistic treatment is only on cash and is not covered in insurance.

I'm reaching out to you all, people whom I've never met, to help me fund my treatment. I need approximately $100.000.00 to cover my holistic treatment or any other alternative treatment and other out of pocket expenses. The treatment is expected to last 6 to 12 months before I can review my condition.

I intend to fight the cancer back and survive this ordeal and appreciate every single penny that is contributed towards this.
