Victory Over Chronic Kidney Disease – Sylvan Langaylangay

Hi. My name is Sylvan Langaylangay, Male, 26 years old, from Cagayan de Oro city, Philippines. I have been diagnosed with CKD stage 3 way back February 2014. Fast-forward, it worsened to CKD stage 5 last April 2017 and my doctors decided that I should undergo a minor operation to insert AV fistula in my left arm to prepare me for hemodialysis. Sadly enough, months after the operation, I started my first hemodialysis session last Oct. 11, 2017 because my body was very weak and it felt like I cannot continue a day if I decided to delay the treatment. After starting the treatment, my body felt better but there were many, many times that I have been hospitalized due to lung congestion which resulted to difficulty in breathing, and there were many times that my body felt so weak that I cannot tolerate walking long distances anymore. Due to my illness, some of my organs were affected which makes my case complicated, my heart has been enlarged, I have Uremia, water intake is limited to 500ml per day, I'm not allowed to do tiresome tasks, and the worst part of all, I have difficulty sleeping during the night because I cannot lie in bed as it will result to difficulty in breathing. It's like my body is almost giving up but my mind says not to. But our faith is stronger than this disease. I thank everyone for supporting and praying for my complete recovery under the Divine intervention of our Lord God and His promise of healing.
