Victoria to Europe

Ciao,

My name is Victoria and I have been accepted to be a student ambassador for this year’s People to People trip. I was very excited when I first received my introduction letter because it has always been my dream to travel the world and discover history outside of the classroom. This year’s trip is to Italy, Spain, and France, three of the most artistic and historical countries in the world. This is very intriguing for me because those are some of my most favorite things! During this trip we will visit Rome’s ruins, rappel down a castle wall in Assisi, talk to priest in Vatican City, see historical artwork and architecture across Spain, and visit southern France to learn culture. As of right now I am in 8th grade and attending my last year of middle school and it has been difficult finding a job with my age, but I take all the advantages I can with setting up weekly garage sales, baby-sitting, pet-setting, yard work, and selling homemade crafts and sweets. All this is helping me raise money, including the help of my friends and family, but it’s going to take a lot more than cookie selling to make my way up to 7,000 dollars. Any donations will be greatly appreciated and go to my learning more about art history and the world. Thank you very much!
