Hello Everybody,
My name is Vicky, I'm 25 years old and in need of a Hip Replacement due to the long term effect of having Perthes Disease as a child.
Unfortunately we cannot afford to pay for this procedure out of pocket since it is so expensive and the surgery is so complex. I've started a GO GET FUNDING campaign to try and get the money together for the operation. The total amount we need to raise includes the amount for the procedure, the hospital stay and the recovery costs. We need to raise R185 000 OR 14 500 Dollar by September for me to be able to have this procedure.
This procedure will change my life. It will not only improve my quality of life, but give me the life I never really had.
I would really appreciate any contribution that you could make to my cause, big or small,and If you cannot make a donation I only ask that you share my campaign with your friends or on social media to help me get the funding so that I can have my life back.

Hello. I am 27 and I just had a hip replacement 3 months ago having suffered from perthes disease since I was 11. I really wish you all the very best :) and something I wish I knew - recovery after a hip replacement does take time so be kind to yourself. It has definitely been worth it. Best wishes!!
