Vic-Sha Records

There is an abundance of talent in churches all acoss the country. Many of these singers and musicians don't have the means to have an album professionally produced and to promote, distribute and sell it let alone the time required to do each of these tasks 100%. My desire is to find such singers and musicians and not only provide them with personal and professional attention, but assist them in giving them the best possible exposure.

Here is a list of a few things that the money raised will go for:

1. Computer/Recording software-$4 to $5,000                  2. Microphones/Cables/Other studio equip-at least $2,000

3. Studio furniture/Desk/Chairs ect.-at least $1,000         4. Office/Studio space-undetermined

5. Office equip/Expenses-undetermined                           6. Advance to artists-will be negotiated with each                                                                                               individually

7. Travel/Hotel/Food+Gas expenses-undetermined (pending on how many artists signed to label and traveling on the road)

8. Anything unexpected

         It can cost quite a bit of money to make an album. Having our own studio and equipment to do so, we can cut down the expences put forth to each artist and band. Also, it will cost the label to have the album manufactured, distributed and promoted. These expenses will be gradually paid back to the label when the artists and bands begin to make money by performing concerts, tours, selling records at those shows along with store and Itunes sales. We will also promote our artists, bands and concerts on the radio.

         The desire of Vic-Sha Records LLC is to create uplifting and entertaining music in a new way. To produce artists and songs with an individual and unique sound all their own and give them the best opportunities to expose their music and give listeners of all ages the best selection of music out there.

         Being that this is a Christian-based company, we will focus primarily on these styles of Christian music: Gospel, Urban, Hip Hop/Rap, Contemporary, Praise/Worship, and Rock/Alternative. We will be open to secular genres as well but they won’t be the label’s headliners. Any secular artist or band that is being considered for signing must first share their plans as a musician and their career goals as well. They will not be signed based off of the popularity of their music nor their fan base. Their image as an artist/band is important to us and must reflect Vic-Sha Records in a positive light. The demographics that the label will target will fall accordingly to each specific genre the label produces.

         The goals I have for this label are as follows. Above all, keep Christ first. Provide our artists/bands with an experience that gives them a personalized touch. Create music that will last through the next generations to come. I desire to operate this label on the level of the current “indie” labels that are out there. This mindset will catapult this label into the major spotlight, and under all circumstances we will keep our composure and maintain our reputation. Through investing in true talent, become one of the most financially profitable labels on the market.

Donors who give $100 will receive a Vic-Sha Records t-shirt, every signed artist's debut album before it is publicly released, 2 tickets to up to 5 concerts promoted by this label.

Donors who give $500 will receive 2 Vic-Sha Records t-shirts, a copy of every album this label produces before it is publicly released, up to 5 tickets and (when applicable) backstage passes to up to 5 concerts promoted by this label.

All will be named as one of the label's financial sponsors.

Even though this label considers itself a ministry, it still will be run as a business!
