Viaje Misionero a Chile/Mission Trip to Chile

En este viaje misionero un grupo de servidores por parte de nuestra iglesia, Casa de Libertad, en Guatemala iremos a servir y entrenar, en el programa Recovery, a hermanos y hermanas de la Iglesia Pablo Apóstol en Valparaíso, Chile.

Recovery es un programa de discipulado de 11 semanas en las cuales vamos profundo para entender el propósito de Dios para su creación. También, Dios, nos revela su carácter mientras vamos desde El Principio, al Evangelio, el cual nos mueve a servir a otros. Así mismo durante estas 11 semanas cavando profundamente, cada participante es guiado, por un padrino o madrina, y confrontado por la Verdad del Evangelio y el Espíritu Santo para desenterrar las raíces de pecado, que los lleva al arrepentimiento, perdón y movido a hacer restituciones.

Hace 6 años tuve la gran oportunidad de experimentar y vivir el discipulado de Recovery. Fue un tiempo excepcionalmente duro, pero a la vez liberador y trae paz. Este proceso requiere de honestidad, resiliencia y sobre todo humildad. Requiere de mucha humildad ya que dejé que la mano de Dios cavara profundamente para desenterrar mis pecados, resentimientos y amargura. Los cuales fueron confesados en arrepentimiento delante de Dios y de mi padrino, fui perdonado y librado de la amargura.

¿Por qué Iglesia Pablo Apóstol?

• Porque pertenecen a La Iglesia, siendo un cuerpo de hermanos y hermanas que tienen comunidad en Cristo.
• Porque han escuchado del programa y desean implementarlo en su comunidad.
• Porque de gracia recibimos y de gracia damos. Hace 6 años un equipo de padrinos vinieron de la Iglesia The Village Church, en Texas, a servirnos y entrenarnos como padrinos para que pudiéramos servir e impactar a nuestra comunidad.

Oramos porque este viaje sea de gran bendición para nuestros hermanos en Iglesia Pablo Apóstol y la comunidad en Valparaíso, Chile. Oramos para que vivan la transformación que viene por medio del Evangelio y oramos para que ellos sean herramientas en las manos de Dios, que salgan a compartir El Evangelio a otros, para que sean transformados.

Sus donaciones cubrirán pasaje de Avión y también gastos alimenticios durante estos 6 día, del 24 al 29 de octubre, que dura el viaje misionero.

In this mission trip sponsors from our church Casa de Libertad, in Guatemala, will go serve and train brothers and sisters from the church Iglesia Pablo Apóstol ,in Valparaiso, Chile, on the Recovery program.

Recovery is an 11 week discipleship program, in which we go deep in the understanding of God's purpose for His creation, and also reveals His character as we go from the Begining, the Gospel and the call so serve and disciple others. Also during this 11 weeks of drilling deep each participant, guided by a sponsor, is confronted by the Truth of the Gospel and the Holy Spirit in order to unearth the roots of their sins, leading to repentance, forgivenes, and moved to do ammends.

6 years ago I had the privilege of living out the discipleship during Recovery. I was an extremely hard, but at same time liberating and brung about peace. This process requires honesty, rescilience, but avobe all humbleness. It requires a lot of humbleness since I let God's hand to drill deep and unearth the root of my sin, resentments and bitterness.Sins which where confessed before God and my sponsor, I was forgiven and freed from bitterness.

Why Iglesia Pablo Apóstol?

1. Because it is part of The Church, being a congregation of brothers and sisters living out community in Christ.
2. Because the have heard of the program and wish to implement it in their community.
3. Because by grace we receive and by grace we give. 6 years ago a team from The Village Church came down to Guatemala, to serve and train us, so we can serve and impact our community.

We pray that this mission trip be a blessing to our brothers and sisters of Iglesia Pablo Apóstol in Valparaiso, not only by being transformed by the Gospel, but also that they may be tools in the hands of God to lead others to be transformed by the truth of the Gospel.
