Hello! I know that we’re all going through something in this time of crisis but I just want to take this moment to ask for your help for the medication of our kababayan here in Dubai. He requested us to not be named due to personal reasons. He is currently working here for four years na in order to support his widowed mother and the education of his youngest sister. He was diagnosed with IgA Nephropathy - Kidney Failure also called end-stage renal disease (ESRD), the last stage of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) four years ago na rin ang nakalipas. When your kidneys fail, it means they have stopped working well enough for you to survive without dialysis or a kidney transplant. And recently ay tinakbo siya sa Dubai Hospital, UAE dahil biglang sumama pakiramdam niya, sobrang sumakit ang ulo, at sobrang nanghina. After ng laboratory test, lumabas na tumaas ang Creatinine level niya from 8.9 to 19.9 on which the normal range for creatinine in the blood may be 0.84 to 1.21 milligrams per deciliter.
According to his sister na kasama niya ngayon, he is in dire need of dialysis which is two times a week at nagkakahalaga yun ng 3,000 AED or approximately 40,000 pesos plus monthly medicines and maintenance na 3,000 AED. As of now, kailangan niya munang magpalakas in preparation for kidney transplant pero milyon ang need to accomplish that. Ngayon, he needs to undergo dialysis muna. Planong maiuwi rin siya sa Pilipinas pero pansamantala he needs to regain his strength first. Dahil sa pandemic wala rin siyang trabaho for the past months so they really need financial assistance ngayon.
This is the only way na nakikita namin to help him. He’s a very loving brother and son. He always put family first. And he’s really a genuine person. Bilang kaibigan, tutulungan ka niya in his own simple ways and he treats his friends as if na kapatid na rin ang turing.
I humbly ask for your help in this difficult situation for him and his family. I know that we also have to deal with our own battles in this time of crisis but I hope na makatulong tayo if we have the means.
The patient wants confidentiality and we respect his decision. Thus, we created a page wherein you can contact and reach the immediate family if you want to help whether you're from UAE, Philippines and other countries. As you can see below, we blurred his face because he requested not to show it for privacy.
Thank you so much. God Bless and Stay Safe!
