Veterinary bills for a critically ill cat

Dear all,

Percius is a 5 year old cat who was recently admitted to St. Angel Veterinary Hospital for 2 weeks and then transferred to Gasing Veterinary Hospital due to severe feline urinary tract infection . Currently Percius still resides in Gasing Veterinary Hospital and already 3 weeks into hospital admission.

He was initially diagnosed with severe urinary tract infection and had multiple episodes of heavy hematuria leading to 2 rounds of blood transfusion needed in the past 1 week. Ultrasound done showed badly damaged kidney and bladder (filled with blood clots, fibrins, sediments) due to the prolonged ascending infections. The vet has suggested for cystotomy or perineal urethrostomy to be done, however as he is still critically ill the operation had to be delayed. He is still very weak and the vets are doing their best to save him.

According to the vets, prognosis is good provided he recovers from the infection and operation is done in due time.
