vet treatment for yorkie needed

my 8 year yorkshire terrier bobby is need of some treatment for his eyes his tearducts are blocked the treatment is costly the ompthamologist that we saw said  the cost would be £550 and i have not got the money.the discharge that is running out of his eye get stuck to the skin and pulling the skin away cause a lot of discomfort even though i bathe his eyes regular on a daily basis.i want to get this done as soon as possible.i thought i would start here hoping someone could help
