Good day

I have a daughter who has had a terrible few years. She had a tumor grown out of her vertebrae c2. She went into a 9 hour surgery. It was a rough time for me as a single mum. She had 3 surgeries in one. They first cut open the back of her skull down to her neck and removed the tumor and her whole c2 vertebrae. Cut open her hip and took bone graft from there to insert into her neck. They then cut open her throat and fused her neck from the back and front with rods and plates and the bone graft from hip. Her neck is fused from c1 to c4 currently. She was in icu for a week.

Her rods and plates are now needed to be removed urgently.

She gets bullied every day for her neck as it is not growing preportion to her body hence it is imperative that it gets removed asap. The surgery was supposed to take place last year but due to no funds the doc postponed it. She is a growing teen now so her neck is currently stuck at one length and has not grown. The sooner the rods and plates are out. The sooner her neck can grow.

I would really appreciate any help that we can get. She is a top student at school and loves to help people over herself. She gives kids who don't have lunch, her lunch just so that she knows they are happy and fed. She is truly a blessing to me.

God bless

Ashley.
