Vending Machines for Less

Hello everyone!

My name is Xavier Chua and I'm an aspiring entrepreneur that wants to fill a need in my Country, The Philippines. I want to put up vending machines nationwide to ensure 24/7 access to very affordable basic necessities. Basic necessities ranging from water, food, emergency supplies (e.g. otc meds and bandages) and other handy tools (e.g. scissors, flashlights, adhesives, and ropes). This may sound simple and easy to offer but most of our cities, most especially in rural areas may have electricity but lack access to markets and basic supplies. The reason why I wanted to put up vending machines is because of how can it be a convenience and helpful to everyone, at any time and at any place.

When I went to Japan last year, June 2018, I was really amazed at the abundance of vending machines everywhere that serves different goods and beverages. These vends sparked me to endless thoughts and vision of how would it be like if my Country has vending machines everywhere. On the flip side, I am fully aware of what are the risks, what will be the impact and what will I be bringing into the market.

To be honest, this will highly disrupt the market in the Philippines. However, having a sense of purpose and meaning in order to fulfil a passion of being able to serve people's needs at the right moment and at the right time, is more than enough.

I am not really aiming for profit maximisation in this venture but this is really an exploration of the concrete possibility of having vending machines at every corner of the Country. This can really help a lot of people whenever they need something at an instance and at the convenience. Even though there's already an internet of things, it's still very convenient to have an accessible vend on your street for your urgent need with no waiting time.

With your support, I am more than willing to share to you what have I researched about so far, the amazing people who will be on the team and how will this benefit our Country.

The operations will start as soon as the funds have been met as we will be starting to import high quality vending machines at an affordable price from our suppliers directly from Japan! I really had a wonderful conversation from the agent I have been able to discuss with and she's more than willing to help me get the equipment as soon as possible.
