Lancaster hunt sabs have been active throughout the 2015/16 hunting season, sabbing hunts in Cumbria, Lancashire and North Wales. Our trusty 7-seater has yet again got us through the main sabbing season so far, and we try to raise funds through our fundraising page, selling artwork and other stuff, but it's difficult trying to find the time to do this at present. We will also be visiting mink hunts throughout the summer as well as monitoring shoots at the Trough of Bowland and foxhunts as they train their new intake of hounds. Our vehicle is generally reliable and keeps everyone safe - we do a lot of miles, on mountain passes which weighs heavily on tyres and brakes. It has had to have a full service, 2 new tyres and maintenance work, which costs £357, and the tax is due which costs £225 for 12 months. We have a friendly and supportive garage who always offer to do any work needed at a low cost. Please help to keep the Lancs sab vehicle on the road for another year. Every penny goes towards saving wildlife in Lancashire.
