Vehicle Fund/Medical Expenses/Lawyer Fees

Hi. My name is Mark. On November 4, 2014 I was on the way home with my girlfriend when a young man ran a red light making a left hand turn into us. He had a small car and I had a Ford Explorer. Because of the angle my air bags did not deploy and since it was dark and the accident happened so fast I never got to hit the brakes. I was thrown up onto the steering wheel and my girlfriend into the windshield. See the picture below to tell how bad the accident was. The picture below is where my girlfriends head hit the windshield. It shoved the glass out two inches. I didn't hit the windshield like that because I was stopped by the steering wheel. My girlfriend and I were removed from the scene in an ambulance. I have just found out that I have 18% permanent nerve damage in my neck and collarbone area from the whiplash. My Explorer was totaled. I have been without a vehicle for over a year and a half. The insurance company will not settle with me but offered just for a small amount and laughed at fact I have injuries. I have a lawyer but we are getting no where with the insurance company. They say your in good hands with them but they are in no way acting like it. I live every day with pain and the doctors say there is nothing they can do for me. I have to do self treatment every day just to get along. It is a terrible situation.

The reason I have the $50,000 listed is that any money raised is taxable and I will need to pay out about 30% to the government.

I am setting up this page to get donations so that I may get a vehicle. I also have unpaid medical bills and if this would have to go to trial I will have to come up with money that I don't have to fight the insurance company. My girlfriend and I now only have one car and we are running her car into the ground with the driving we have had to do over this time period. I hope that you will donate to this fund as I have an insurance company that is no way kind or caring and I will have to live with this neck injury for the rest of my life.
