Campaign Story
The badger cull is nearly upon us, and our activists have been working hard out in the field to prepare. This is our busiest time of year with our members out working to protect badger from the cull for six weeks at the same time as fox cub hunt season begins; the period where hunts are out early in the morning to train their new hounds for the rest of the season.
Our group has grown in size as more people have joined us, so to cover as much ground and save as many lives as we can, we are fundraising £1750 for a second vehicle.After spending time over lockdown and over summer fundraising, this is a final push to buy, tax and insure a car which will be cheaper to run during the cull than our 8 seater, but can also be used for transporting sabs and spoiling the day for various hunts once the badger cull is over. Our busiest time of year is also our most expensive!
Any amount you can donate, no matter how small, will be a real help!
