As a child I loved animals. I would draw animals every chance I had. My love was so much that I wanted to become a veterinary surgeon. During my early teens, I became vegetarian. At the time I had never heard of veganism.Unfortunately, at age 17, someone convinced me to return to eating meat. Over the next 27 years, I had niggling doubts about eating meat. I decided I would become a vegetarian again. Then my son, a committed meat eater who swore he would never stop eating meat, suddenly became a vegan. I attempted to convince him that it was extreme. I lost the battle, and he converted me! I feel like I’ve come home.
My son told me today that I remind him of the main character in The Office – apparently, a boss who tells his staff cringe jokes leaving an awkward silence and only he finds his jokes funny. That's me!
Yesterday I was in Tesco with my wife, and I made her stand still and listen to my random jokes that just invaded my mind. She wanted to go to the fruit and veg aisle, and I'm making her stand and listen to me tell jokes as I laugh out loud. People were staring. The life of a comedian. I write comedy for media productions
While shooting comedy productions, my eldest son has had to walk out - laughing too much. He told me he couldn't shoot my video for me as he can't stop laughing.
Some people like to see a beautiful sunset or some other sight for sore eyes. I like to see people smile and laugh - it's my heartbeat.
Film/Video is the No. 1 Tool To Get a Message Out.
Media is a powerful tool to when promoting a message or cause. Comedy is an excellent method to break the ice and communicate a sensitive message.
We would like to produce a comedy and a documentary to promote veganism.
Comedy: The comedy production would involve actors, and the script will aim to use comedy to present a positive message about veganism. Laughter is a universal language we all understand.
Characters Like: Flabby Gabby, Earthling Fred, Vegan Pains and others. It will be hilarious, educational and inspirational.
Docu-Movie: The documentary will seek to document the growth of veganism. Veganism is growing at an alarming rate as more and more people are exposed to it through social media.
Ideally, we would like to see the production on either Netflix, Amazon Prime or online. With your support, we can produce a powerful media production.
Help us get these projects off the ground.
